Flashlight Press
Flashlight Press is a small publishing company that makes children's books. They needed a logo that reflected their mission, which was to make picture books for children that "explore and illuminate," and they also wanted a reference to their name, Flashlight. We came up with a logo that is both serious, but also fun, with the light shining on the letters. The logo was also very versatile, being displayed in a number of different colors. In the years since their introduction into the children's book market, the Virtual Paintbrush and Flashlight Press have teamed up to make a number of successful children's books and catalogs.
